Patient & Public Involvement:
NHS Hertfordshire is actively supporting the establishment of a Patient/Public Involvement Forum for the WatCom locality and the next meeting will be held on Wednesday 26th May 2010 at the Stanborough Centre, Watford, from 6.30 for 7 pm. As requested by the group when it last met, the principal subject for the evening will be the Commissioning of Adult Mental Health Services.
WatCom believes it is essential to have effective patient and public involvement in the processes of Practice Based Commissioning. A representative from the group mentioned above will be appointed to join the WatCom Executive Group. This is in addition to the someone having been co-opted as a member of our Implementation Group for the last 3 years.
