WatCom PBC Ltd:
As a result of guidance issued by the Department of Health since late 2004, WatCom PBC Ltd was established in 2006 to facilitate the efforts of General Practices to engage with NHS Hertfordshire and other stakeholders for the delivery of Practice Based Commissioning (PBC). In 2010/11 WatCom will commission services on behalf of the patient population living in Watford and Three Rivers, a total of over 189,000 people registered with the 28 general practices in these two localities.
